With a pioneering background in educational technology, Erica is the founder and lead researcher of the VR School Study, the first long-term project investigating VR in school settings. She has led numerous national projects on AI and emerging technologies, including the Australian Government-commissioned report on AI in schools. Erica is also the creator of award-winning educational computer games for literacy and the lead investigator of the ARC-funded project, Equipping Australian Teachers Today to Face AI Tomorrow. Her extensive research, including her book Virtual Reality in Curriculum and Pedagogy: Evidence from Secondary Classrooms, underscores her commitment to guiding educators through the ethical and practical impacts of technology on learning.
